Well, today is the day you get to do just that! Your assignment is to write a fairy tale of your own. Your narratives should have the following:
Descriptive phrases
Organization (Introduction, body and conclusion)
Dialogue between characters
Central focus
Mathematic facts (minimum of three)
Ensure that you use the graphic organizer to maintain organization. Keep in mind the class resources available for editing and revision.
This project has proven to be interesting to say the least. I have enjoyed the experience and believed it will prove to be a useful tool. Voice thread can be used in class presentations as well as a media project idea. Gives students options to tie makes and Youtube clips to lessons. In my aspiration of being a Math instructor there are movies and television shows that demonstrate and illustrate math being used in everyday life. It would awesome to place those segment into a lecture or introduction to a new unit. The idea of embedding various frames or creating an entire lesson via voice thread makes the possibilities endless. Should I, as a teacher, need to be away from my class the lesson may continue as planned. I can record the lesson prior to being out. As well as lesson may be recorded and placed on Google classroom for reference material.
